I shouldn’t do it but I’m into it: It’s time for another episode of On Track!
In case you missed the news last week… yes, I’m officially back for a second round of: On Track, my series focused on bringing you intimate sit-down interviews with rising queer talent and fierce allies. New podcast episodes are premiering weekly on Thursdays – Subscribe HERE!
Today (September 10), season two continues with rising pop starlet Gia Woods!
The 23-year-old songstress has come a long way since releasing her debut single, “Only a Girl,” in 2016. The song served as her coming out song. Since then, Gia has remained a consistent one-to-watch in music thanks to her slew of forward-thinking pop cuts. Now, after spending the past 2 years honing in on her sound and artistic vision, she’s gearing up for the release of her debut EP, Cut Season.
On this episode (recorded back in March), Jon Ali cuts deeper into how Gia got her start, her upbringing, creative process, single releases, the making of Cut Season, as well as her plans for the future and much much more.
