Logic Brings Awareness To Suicide Prevention In Heart-Wrenching ‘1-800-273-8255’ Video!

You’re going to need some tissues for this one…

Logic continues to bring awareness to suicide prevention with the truly powerful music video for his latest Everybody single “1-800-273-8255,” featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid!

The California-based rapper’s “1-800-273-8255” was already powerful to begin with, but now paired with the song’s official visual, its message has been lifted up higher to new heights. Written and directed by frequent Logic collaborator Andy Hines, the cinematic clip tells the story of a young man, played by Coy Stewart (Bella and the Bulldogs), who falls in love with his classmate, played by Modern Family star Nolan Gould. But when their parents (played by Don Cheadle and Matthew Modine) disapprove of their connection, sadness falls upon them, leading one of them to contemplate suicide.

It’s a stunning visual that does the talking for itself. With so much hate in the world right now this message couldn’t be more important and timely, especially to P.O.C, the LGBTQ community, and the trans community. For anyone struggling with depression or thoughts of suicide, please call this number. Thank you, Logic.

“1-800-273-8255 (feat. Alessia Cara & Khalid)” is available on Apple Music and Spotify now!
