In the clip, we see the singer-songstress rocking stunning costumes as she channels two personas, the Faun and the Phoenix inspired by Shakespeare‘s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, to narrate us through her post-apocalyptic dreamstate, where the fashion goes hard and the dancing goes even harder.
“I met up with Sasha Samsonova on this, who’s done amazing photography work with Kylie Jenner,” D∆WN told Jon ALi. “We worked together on this and really pushed to make this about fashion with the emphasis on avant-garde fashion. It’s been slept on, at times people think it’s too much but I come from the love of Grace Jones and Bowie. I wanted this to be out there and beautiful but still have it be relatable, so its a great mixture of the basics and avant-garde world. We catered to design, beauty and fashion. I’m super excited for everyone to see it.”
I got the chance to speak with D∆WN yesterday (June 9) so be on the look out for our interview soon!
