Brandon Flowers Promises His Devoting Love on Uplifting ‘Desired Effect’ Cut, ‘Still Want You’!

Can’t Deny My Love,” the addicting the lead single from Brandon Flowers‘ upcoming second solo album The Desired Effect, is still on heavy rotation on my daily playlist, yet The Killers frontman is already sharing more from the upcoming LP (out May 18).

His latest titled “Still Want You,” is all about being completely devoted to someone even through the most trying times. “Time is passing by / I still want you / Crime is on the rise / I still want you / Climate change is dead / I still want you / Nuclear distress / I still want you,” Brandon sings on the uplifting, retro-styled production. “The Earth is heating up / I still want you / Hurricanes and floods / I still want you / even more than I did before.” It’s certainly a change of pace for Brandon, but a welcomed one indeed. The Desired Effect is shaping up to be quite the treat already! Oh Brandon Flowers, the things you do to me.
