No Doubt have finally announced that they’re ready to make their comeback with their new album Push and Shove due out September 25! The band haven’t released an entirely new studio album since Rock Steady in 2001. The first single from the album, “Settle Down,” will premiere Monday (July 16). The video will be directed by Sophie Muller, who also helmed the videos for their hits “Don’t Speak” and “Underneath It All.” Push and Shove will feature production by Mark “Spike” Stent (Rock Steady), Diplo, Switch, and much more. Their comeback is long overdue and I’m thrilled to finally have them back, it’s going to be a good year. Read the band’s official announcement below. What do you guys think?
“Hope you are sitting down because we’ve got some really big news to share with you! While adding the finishing touches to our new album we realized it was time to name it…so we did, and the name is…(drum roll please)…Push and Shove!!! We also want to let you know that the first single from Push and Shove will be “Settle Down” and we’ll be filming the video for it this week with our longtime friend and collaborator Sophie Muller. Very exciting!”
