Foxes Returns Liberated With ‘Love Not Loving You’!

REJOICE! Foxes is back.

It feels like it’s been about 50 years since the talented British darling graced us with new music. In fact, the last musical serving we got from Foxes was the visual for “Cruel,” one of the many gems from her 2016 sophomore album All I Need. An album that is still very much All I Need.

So yes, it’s been awhile, but she’s back and she’s ready to celebrate with the lead single from her forthcoming LP, “Love Not Loving You“!

The stomping synth-pop gem sees Foxes diving a little deeper into ’80s pop – much in the same vein as the euphoric, earnest perfection that is “Body Talk.” However, “Love Not Loving You” is a bit more crunchier and quirkier in its structure.

“You broke me out of a fever/ You make me feel like someone else/ You make me dance like I mean it/ Now I love, now I love/ Now I love not loving you (not loving you)…,” she declares on the liberation anthem.

“This song is about finally falling in love with myself, about not depending on anyone else for my own happiness, And being able to stand on my own two feet,” Foxes said in a statement. “I hope the message in this song can inspire others to do the same.”

She said we’re getting rid of that bad energy in 2020! And for that, we remain grateful for Foxes.
