Wow, look at her now: Selena Gomez is already back with more!
Just yesterday, the Revival songstress made her grand return with her beautifully devastating break-up ballad “Lose You To Love Me.” Now, twenty-four hours later, she’s already back with her second new song: “Look At Her Now,” co-written with alongside long-time collaborators Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter and produced Ian Kirkpatrick.
The surprise release is another song about being broken down by love, but rising above in spite of everything – except this time, she’s back to her pop dance-floor roots. “They fell in love one summer/ A little wild for each other/ shiny ’til it wasn’t/ feels good ’til it doesn’t…,” she croons across the skittering beat before the dizzyingly fierce chorus comes surging through the speakers.
“Mm-mm-mm, mm-mm-mm, mm-mm/ Look at her now, watch her go/ Mm-mm-mm, mm-mm-mm, mm-mm/ Wow, look at her now…,” she declares in her now signature, breathy sweet spot.
“Look At Her Now” is a refreshingly weird serving from Selena that plays to her strengths and sees her returning to her roots and dialing up the BPM. And, if that’s not all – the video completely sells it with its neon-drenched dance escape. Selena‘s got her groove back. WE LOVE TO SEE IT!
