Selena Gomez is slowly but surely getting back into the swing of things…
While we’ve yet to get any updates on her long-delayed Revival follow-up, the multi-talented superstar has been keeping us happy with some high-profile collaborations along the way, “Taki Taki” with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Cardi B and last month’s “Anxiety” with Julia Michaels.
This week, Selena returns with yet another fierce collaboration: “I Can’t Get Enough,” featuring J Balvin, benny blanco and Latin Grammy-winning producer Tainy.
According to the press release, blanco and Tainy, the producer behind Cardi B‘s “I Like It,” began work on the song last December and quickly recruited Gomez and Balvin to join.
The result is a Latin-flavored dance throb, complemented by a subtle humming that establishes the underlying beat line while keeping rhythm, leading all the way up to that instant chorus: “‘Cause I can’t get enough/ Yeah, I can’t get enough/ Yeah, I can’t get enough of your love/ Give me some more, I love it…“
It’s hardly anything we haven’t heard before, but without a doubt a wonderful fusion of talent – A WIN I SAY!
