Blame It On The ‘Juice’: Lizzo Drops First Great Song of 2019!

After four excruciatingly days of waiting, it’s finally arrived: The first great song of 2019.

Many of you may already be acquainted with Minneapolis-bred talent Lizzo because of her everything included on her excellent 2016 Coconut Oil EP, or the many stellar singles that followed, from “Water Me” to “Truth Hurts” to “Fitness” and “Boys” – one of 2018’s Very Best Singles.

It seems now that Lizzo is ready to bust out on a larger scale this year, and this is surely an impressive way to start. Her latest called “Juice” is exactly the kind of reassuring anthem necessary to begin a new chapter feeling free and confident.

If I’m shiny, everybody gonna shine (Yeah, I’m goals)/ I was born like this, don’t even gotta try (Now you know),” Lizzo declares across ’80’s-like synths and the funky, strut-ready bassline. “I like chardonnay, get better over time (So you know)/ Heard you say I’m not the baddest, bitch, you lie…

It’s a mantra for the year: Own your identity. Shine. And make no apologies… blame it on the “Juice“!

Lizzo’s latest single “Juice” is also available on Apple Music and Spotify now!
