Clean Bandit’s Star-Studded Sophomore Album ‘What Is Love?’ Is Finally Here!
HAPPY #NEWMUSICFRIDAY MUSIC SLUTS! (Sorry for yelling.)
This is a time for celebration: At long last, Clean Bandit‘s anticipated sophomore album What Is Love? has officially landed worldwide.
As you might already know, the 16-track LP partly serves as a greatest hits collection for the UK production trio. It’s been two years in the making after all. Yupp, half of these songs have already been out for quite some time: the Sean Paul and Anne-Marie-assisted “Rockabye,” “Symphony” with Zara Larsson, “Tears” with Louisa Johnson, “I Miss You” with Julia Michaels, “Solo” with Demi Lovato, and their current single “Baby” with Marina (formerly Marina & the Diamonds) and “Despacito” hit-maker Luis Fonsi are all here. They’re all great though, so like whatever.
Of the new songs that are also worth mentioning, “Mama” with Ellie Goulding is Ace of Base-like brilliance, “Last Goodbye” with Tove Styrke and Stefflon Don is tropical-fantastic, “Nowhere” with Rita Ora and KYLE is quite excellent (we stan Ora in this house, k), “In Us I Believe” with ALMA is stellar, and “Playboy Style” with Charli XCX and Bhad Bhabie is surprisingly great, too.
It’s ready-made hits, so if you like wonderfully-crafted pop… GET INTO IT!
Clean Bandit’s new album What Is Love? (Deluxe) is also available on Apple Music now!
