Listen up folks! I will not allow you to sleep on Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter.
Since confessing my love for the 19-year-old Disney princess-turned-pop superstar back in July of last year, she has consistently served up quality pop records – from her collaborations with Lost Kings and Jonas Blue to her most recent single “Almost Love,” one of 2018’s very best.
Now, Miss Sabrina is getting ready to release part one of her third studio album, titled Singular: Act 1. Alongside it’s lead “Almost Love,” the first half of the LP is set to come with 7 brand new tracks, including the freshly released “Paris.”
Backed by plucks of surf guitar, haunting background coos and infectious synths, the Jason Evigan and Leland co-penned track glides through the speakers like a crisp fall breeze, equipped with an instant chorus that will remain glued to your brain: “It’s so romantic in Paris/ Won’t even try to compare it/ Thought I was sure that I’d find it/ But I already have love in LA.”
The track oozes in a sinister sensualness and only continues to prove that Sabrina is the next pop talent to get behind.
