Time to get bubblegum wasted!
As you may or may not already know, underground and newly-independent pop princess LIZ has been lowkey killin’ it all year long thanks to her undeniably good double-A-side singles “Could U Love Me” and “Queen of Me,” and, most recently, her infectious, PC Music-driven anthem, “Super Duper Nova.” She honestly just cannot stop delivering, and no one should even try to stop her.
This week, LIZ is back at it again with her brand new single “Pandemonium,” produced by Nico Stadi whose credits include Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Lindsey Stirling and Goldroom, to name just a few. And, it’s really great – seriously!
The track is an anthemic, light-hearted summery bop full of cheeky, ’00’s references, slamming synthesizers and supremely crafted earworm melodies. It’s big, joyous, bold and a little erratic — just like a song called “Pandemonium” should sound.”
“‘Pandemonium‘ is full of juxtapositions–There are a ton of early 00’s references in the lyrics, but there’s something about the production that doesn’t remind me of anything I’ve referenced in the past,” LIZ said in a statement. “It’s bubblegum and light-hearted, yet it feels deeply anthemic and celebratory of that sense of innocence and youth we are all somewhat secretly nostalgic for.”
