Close to a year has passed since the release of his self-titled debut, and Alex Crossan has only continued to wow fans with his remarkably distinctive touch on anything from future bass, to indie-pop on remixes for HAIM, Bonzai and more.
Following the release of his first 2018 single “Move Me” in June, the genre-breaking producer returns yet again with new single “Complicated,” which sees him reuniting with fellow British talent Nao, who first collaborated with him on album standout “Firefly.”
“Complicated,” which was co-written and co-produced by Skrillex, blends smooth R&B elements into an uptempo future-bass beat. Nao‘s signature feather-light vocals are broken up between thoughtful arrangements and modulated vocal layering, making this yet another winning collab between the two.
Reach for this one at a pool party, on the dance floor, or really anywhere for the rest of the summer.
