Iggy Azalea Drops A ‘Survive the Summer’ Double Dose: ‘Kream’ & ‘Tokyo Snow Trip’!

Iggy Azalea is back to help us Survive the Summer!

Following the Quavo-assisted “Savior,” the Aussie rapper reloads with two new tracks off her upcoming Survive the Summer EP: the Tyga-assisted “Kream” and “Tokyo Snow Trip“!

First up is the Bedrock-produced “Tokyo Snow Trip,” where Iggy goes back and forth from whispering and rapping on her verses, channeling a bit of the Ying Yang Twins‘ flow on their hit “Wait (The Whisper Song).” “Rose from the cracks with the rats and the roaches (roaches)/ Bust a duffel bag open (open),” she whispers. “Hush money in the sofa (shhh)/ Bitch, you know what I’m totin’

Then there’s The Mike WiLL Made-It and Ronny J-produced “Kream,” which sees her paying some homage to the ’90s hip-hop classic, Wu-Tang Clan‘s “C.R.E.A.M. Iggy raps about money, power, and respect, with references to Sid Vicious and Bella Hadid, on-top of a chilled-out hip-hop production.

If I’m being completely honest, I wasn’t really impressed with either “Kream” or “Tokyo Snow Trip.” Neither scream smash hit to me, but I will at least admit that I do somewhat enjoy the very hyper-sexual, chilled-out vibe on both. Solid cuts at best.
