Bebe Rexha Meets Her ‘Expectations’ With Two New Singles: ‘Ferrari’ & ‘2 Souls On Fire’!

Bebe Rexha is at it again, but this time she means business.

The singing-songwriting diva has truly solidified herself as a true pop superstar in her own right over the last few years with a consistent string of solo releases and collaborations, from “Me, Myself & I” with G-Eazy to “In the Name of Love” with Martin Garrix to her very own “I Got You” and most notably her current reigning “Meant To Be” with Florida Georgia Line, which currently holds the #2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

To keep the momentum going, Bebe‘s announced that she’s finally ready to give us a fully-realized body of work. That’s right! Her full-length debut entitled, Expectations, is officially set for a June 22nd release – and in celebration, Bebe has gone ahead and dropped not one, but two new tracks from the upcoming LP: “Ferrari” “2 Souls on Fire” featuring Quavo!

The first song “Ferrari,” is an anthemic power ballad that organically builds along an array of chilly atmospherics and infectious guitar riffs, leading all the way to what is a genuinely big feeling, emotional chorus. “I‘m a Ferrari pulled off on Mulholland Drive/ Over the city, the lights are so pretty from up here/ I’m a Ferrari and after the party is done/ I keep on going, missing the moments/ Living in the fast lane is getting kind of lonely (yeah),” she cries out. To no one’s surprise, the song offers up some effortlessly strong melodies — those “whoo, ooh, ooh-ooh” chants are a major earworm — resulting in perfect, stadium-ready musical medicine for anyone who can relate to that living in the fast lane sentiment.

And then there’s “2 Souls on Fire” with Quavo, a slightly more familiar affair for Bebe as far as production is concerned. The infectious Jussifer and Aaron Zuckerman-crafted track plays like a blend of Shawn Mendes‘ “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” and, fittingly, Bebe and G-Eazy‘s “Me, Myself & I,” as the two stars trade verses across a genre-blurring production. “Desire, two souls on fire/ Make me feel some type of way/ Desire, two souls on fire…” It got me feeling some type of way, indeed.

Bebe Rexha’s debut album is available for pre-order on iTunes now!
