The Aces Face Unrequited Love On New Gem, ‘Just Like That’!

We’ve had the great pleasure of hearing almost half of The Aces‘ upcoming debut When My Heart Felt Volcanic before it drops in full on April 6: From the brilliant “Stuck,” to their most recent offerings “Fake Nice,” “Volcanic Love” and “Lovin is Bible” — and they’re all fantastic. There’s simply not a single dud in the set so far. Not one!

The fierce group of talented ladies – Cristal Ramirez, Katie Henderson, McKenna Petty and Alisa Ramirez – just dropped yet another cut from the collection called “Just Like That,” and this one is certainly no exception.

“Tell me are you even in it/ Cause I’m done trying in a minute/ And just like that, just like that/ There’s nothing left of…,” lead Cristal aches on the agonizing and brilliant hook over throbbing pulsations. “You can come get all your t-shirts/ Cause I don’t like the way I look in them/ And just like that, just like that/ There’s nothing left of you/ Nothing left of you.”

It’s an unrequited love anthem. The kind of lush, aching synth-pop breakup gem that you’d expect Carly Rae Jepsen to deliver. Pure magic!

The Aces’ latest “Just Like That” is also available on Apple Music and Spotify!
