The Aces are the gift that just keep giving! After making their grand return with their cheeky kiss-off “Fake Nice” last week, the all-female pop-rock quartet is already back at it with “Volcanic Love,” the second and much gentler taste off of their upcoming debut album, When My Heart Felt Volcanic – which is set to be released on April 6th!
“‘Volcanic Love‘ is one of the most special songs on the record,” The Aces said in a statement. “It is the first song that made sense to us and we feel really captures the essence of The ACES. 4 girls from lil old Orem, Utah. Hope you love it xxx.”
While previous single “Fake Nice” added some extra bite to their signature sound, “Volcanic Love” sees the ladies slowing things down a bit with a much more laid-back, sunny groove. “You’re burning me up/ Tell me you feel it now/ You’re burning me up/ I know you need it now/ Lo-o-ove, volcanic lo-o-ove/ Lo-o-ove, volcanic lo-o-ove,” they softly chant across the warm disco-light beats and crashing drums.
These girls are doing the damn thing. “Volcanic Love” hits all the right marks all while adding some extra depth to their steadily growing catalog – LOVE!
