Julia Michaels’ ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ Single ‘Heaven’ Is A Satisfying Ode To Bad Boys!

Every week leading up to the February 9 release of the Fifty Shades Freed Soundtrack, we’ve been treated to stellar pop production from the star-studded collection: “The Wolf” by Spencer Lee Band, the Ellie Goulding-penned “Capital Letters” by Hailee Steinfeld and BloodPop®, and most notably “For You (Fifty Shades Freed)” from Liam Payne and Rita Ora.

This week, Best New Artist Grammy nominee Julia Michaels drops off her soundtrack contribution titled, “Heaven“! The track, co-written by MNEK and Tayla Parx, is a satisfying ode to “bad boys” that sees Julia lacing her signature husky vocals across a moodier, sparse and sexy soundscape.

No need to imagine/ ‘Cause I know it’s true/ They say “all good boys go to heaven”/ But bad boys bring Heaven to you,” Julia sings on the chorus. “It’s automatic/ It’s just what they do/ They say “all good boys go to heaven”/ But bad boys bring Heaven to you.”

It’s haunting and keeps the focus entirely on Julia‘s vocals, making this quite the solid pop treat.

Heaven [From “Fifty Shades Freed Soundtrack] is available on Apple Music and Spotify now!
