Dua Lipa Battles Herself In Empowering ‘IDGAF’ Music Video!

Dua Lipa, the pop star we deserve, is here to slay our lives all over again.

As her worldwide smash “New Rules” nears the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 (currently #11), Dua drops the music video for her official follow-up single “IDGAF“! The track, co-written by hit-maker MNEK, sees Dua singing about an ex who’s trying to get back into her life, but she’s having none of his bullsh*t. Yass ladies and gents, “don’t pick up the phone”!

As for the clip, it sees her teaming up once again with Henry Scholfield – the genius behind the visuals for “New Rules” and “Lost In Your Light” – as she showcases two versions of herself and her all-girl gang standing across from each other. Dua recently revealed that the video shows “your stronger and weaker side fighting with each other only to find that self love is what will help you overcome anything negative that comes your way.”

One side represents the “strong,” the other the “weaker” and they battle it out to find that happy balance. It’s a smart and artistic take on self-love driven by female-empowerment. Yeah, Dua is the ONE – LOVE! LOVE!

Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut album is available on Apple Music and Spotify now!
