Billie Eilish Links Up With Vince Staples On ‘watch’ Rework ‘&burn’!

It’s been just four months since she’s dropped her impressive dont smile at me EP, and yet, Billie Eilish seems to be showing no signs of slowing down. She’s keeping the flame LIT!

Following the surprise release of “bitches broken hearts” last month, the rising 15-year-old pop sensation drops “&burn” with rapper Vince Staples. The is essentially a reworked version of her EP cut “Watch” that features new verses from Vince. “7-4-2008, I still remember that/ Heaven sent a present my way/ I won’t forget your laugh/ Packing everything when you leave/ You know you coming back/ Wanna see me down on my knees/ But that was made for a ring,” Vince lays down over the drum pads and chilly atmospherics.

“When we were working on the song in the studio, we originally wanted to call the song ‘Watch & Burn’ (like ‘Watch & Learn,’ but you’re burning),” Billie said in a statement to the FADER. “We ended up producing two separate and completely different versions. This version felt like it would be perfect with someone as a feature. Vince Staples was my NUMBER 1 choice, so when we got him to hear it and he agreed to do, it was incredible and the verse he did is so mf good! He is a god and I’m excited for it to finally come out!”

While it would’ve been great to hear these two together on an entirely new song, this “Watch” rework gets the job done too. Listen below…

Billie Eilish’s “&burn” with Vince Staples is also available on Apple Music and Spotify!
