This week’s Song of the Week comes from a name you all should be very well acquainted with: Martin Garrix!
Following star-studded collaborations with Bebe Rexha (“In The Name of Love“), Dua Lipa (“Scared To Be Lonely“) and Troye Sivan (“There For You“), the 21-year-old Dutch producer has debuted yet another high-profile collab: “So Far Away” featuring additional production from David Guetta, and vocals from Jamie Scott and Romy Dya.
“So Far Away” is another winning, future bass-leaning collaboration from Martin that sees Jamie and Romy trading passionate verses over some emotive string and synth elements, all leading up to a powerful post-chorus drop – you know, as expected. The track was rumored to originally feature Ellie Goulding and Conor Maynard on the top-line, but it’s quite obvious that Martin has chosen to go in a different direction. A solid tune regardless – Listen below!
