Maroon 5 Beg For Forgiveness On Latest ‘Red Pill Blues’ Cut, ‘Wait’!

Adam Levine and company want you to remember that their new album, titled Red Pill Blues, arrives this Friday (November 3) y’all!

You got that! With just two days left to go until Friday, Maroon 5 have decided to release yet another teaser from the forthcoming LP, “Wait.” And this time they’re all on their own again – there’s no featuring act for the first time this era!

Dirty looks from your mother/ Never seen you in a dress that color, no/ It’s a special occasion/ Not invited but I’m glad I made it,” Adam croons before the high-octane pop beats begin to fill out the moody, spaced-out electro-pop production. Then comes in the pleading hook, which is unarguably just as immediate as everything we’ve heard thus far: “Wait, can you turn around, can you turn around?/ Just wait, can we work this out, can we work this out?/ Just wait, can you come here please? ‘Cause I want to be with you…

After a consistent string of collaboration-heavy releases, it does feel quite nice to finally hear frontman Adam taking the lead without any assistance. “Wait” properly highlights Adam‘s bad-boy-good-boy crooning and serves as a solid album cut. I diggs.

Maroon 5’s latest “Wait” is also available on Apple Music and Spotify!
