Kelsea Ballerini Claims Her Independence On The ‘Unapologetically’ Sassy ‘Miss Me More’!

Kelsea Ballerini has given us another glimpse into her upcoming sophomore album, Unapologetically, before it hit stores everywhere on November 3.

The Grammy-nominated Country darling has revealed a new song titled “Miss Me More” as her next promo single, and it’s really, really great! And also super different from its predecessors “Legends,” “Unapologetically” and “High School.”

The song – crafted alongside David Hodges and LELAND – centers around a past relationship with a certain someone who wasn’t making Kelsea feel so good, until the break-up that is – yes, it’s a self-empowerment anthem of sorts packed with sassy and sultry vocals from Kelsea. It’s a good look (and sound) on her.

As if the song wasn’t already loaded with enough confident-punch as it is, the production itself is properly thunderous — as is the massive chorus: “But I miss me more/ I miss my own beat, to my own snare drum/ I miss me more/ Miss my own sheets in the bed I made up/ I forgot I had dreams, I forgot I had wings/ Forgot who I was before I ever kissed you/ Yeah, I thought I’d miss you/ But I miss me more!

Strong message. Strong song. Strong feels all around. I am very here for sassy Kelsea Ballerini.

Kelsea Ballerini’s latest “Miss Me More” is also available on Apple Music and Spotify now!
