With Younger Now just one week away from dropping on Friday (September 29), Miley Cyrus has decided to provide us with one more reassuring glimpse into her anticipated sixth studio LP! What a generous queen, no?
This week, Miley has thrown “Week Without You” into the ring as Younger Now‘s latest pre-order grat track. And much like “Malibu,” “Inspired” and the joyous title track, “Week Without You” – co-written and co-produced by Miley herself – is (sonically) exactly what we’ve come to expect from her this time around.
“I know that I gave you my heart/ But you stomped it to the ground/ And that’s what got me wondering what it’s like/ To not have you around,” she sings across the slow-moving, country waltz ballad with an old-timey feel, which, if anything, very much sounds like an ode to the 1950s-era.
I can’t say it’s any better than everything we’ve heard thus far, but it does immediately feel like a natural fit to the Miley we see today. Es cute – Listen below!
Miley Cyrus’ latest “Week Without You” is also available on Spotify and Apple Music now!
