Tove Styrke Falls Deep In Lust On Her Latest Infectious Throb, ‘Mistakes’!

Oops! Hey hey hey… she did it again.

Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Styrke become quite the welcome surprise this summer, having supplied us with the utterly killer “Say My Name” back in May. But why stop there?

Today (September 15), Tove drops yet another new single: “Mistakes,” written and produced alongside Elof Loelv. The synth-heavy cut sees the silky-voiced songstress getting lost in a fucks-free reverie of lovin’ with her special someone above high-octane, electro-pop beats. “You make me, you make me, you make me wanna make mistakes/ Love how bittersweet it tastes/ Hey, hey, hey/ You make me, you make me, you make me wanna make mistakes/ Bend my heart until it breaks/ Hey, hey, hey…,” she confesses on the hook. It’s a true trip.

Is there no end to Tove‘s stellar outputs this time around? I sure hope not… get into it!

“Sometimes you need chaos to feel in control. I mean, if I can shake myself around a bit that proves to me that I’m not powerless in my life. Even when it feels that way,” Tove said in a statement. “‘Mistakes‘ can be about a person or yourself or just life in general. But I guess the point is that you don’t need to be perfect and that there’s something valuable in letting go of the person that you think you are or should be. Maybe all mistakes aren’t mistakes.”

Tove Styrke’s new single “Mistakes” is also available on Apple Music and Spotify now!
