I could be your supermodel if you believe…
Following last month’s music video release for “Drew Barrymore,” SZA returns with yet another stunning new visual in support of her truly amazing full-length debut CTRL, which is without a doubt one of the best of the year already.
This time it’s for fan favorite “Supermodel,” a song all about leaving an ex behind after being mistreated and underappreciated. Directed by Nabil — who also worked on the Travis Scott-assisted “Love Galore” video — this clip is a slightly less moody, though just as deadly. It follows the TDE songstress’ journey through a magical forest, led by children fairies, who blow pixie dust kisses at their rising diva.
SZA struts her way through an enchanted forest in a see-through black blouse and matching Ctrl panties. Eventually, she runs back into reality with the group children, as they shoot imaginary guns and explosives at her ex. Good riddance!
It’s another stellar output from SZA, who’s quickly proving to be one of the biggest breakout stars of the year – and deservingly so!
SZA’s full-length debut CTRL is available on iTunes and all other digital platforms now!
