In the Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip, Hailee shuts down a guy who tells her she’s “not like most girls” – Aca-scuse me?!? She then goes on to channel a variety of different girls, from a blonde-haired socialite to a tomboy-like boxer, showcasing that girls can be whatever and whoever they want to be. By the end, Hailee‘s joined by a crew of ladies rocking t-shirts with their individual personality traits, from “feisty” to “gritty” to “fearless.”
It’s a bit cheesy but also expected with a song like this. I’m all for spreading a positive message, so I say, yes Hailee – Girl Power!
