It’s been a minute since we last heard from talented singer-songstress, Becky Hill!
The British feature staple has kept things rather quiet ever since releasing “WARM” back in October of last year, but thankfully, that’s about to change with the release of her new single: “Rude Love” produced and written by her frequent collaborator/real-life pal MNEK!
Building slowly on-top of intricate synth lines, the soaring pop number sees Becky showcasing a fiercely more aggressive side of herself as she belts the house down on the ode to unrequited love. “You don’t show me no love anymore/ I’ve had enough dancing on my own/ You don’t show me no love anymore, love anymore,” she declares before a hard-hitting electro-pop pulse comes surging into the speakers on the banger of a hook: “Rude love/ Rude love…,” she sings, leaping from smoothly crooned verses, to spirited yells.
But that first chorus go-around is merely a tease… each time Becky hits that chorus, the song swells with more epic vocals and more thrilling production twists and turns. And by the time she reaches that final build (“you don’t me, you don’t show me no love anymore“), you know that Becky‘s had it, officially. Rude Love, no more!
