Emeli Sandé Refines & Elevates On Sophomore LP ‘Long Live the Angels’ – Enter To Win Copy!

LIFT YOUR HANDS UP HIGH AND SCREAM HALLELUJAH: Long Live the Angels, the brand new album from Emeli Sandé, has arrived!

The sophomore slump can sometimes be nearly impossible to avoid, but with Long Live the Angels, Emeli managed to deliver a more than worthy follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut, Our Version of Events. This time around, the soulful diva took on a more refined and ambitious sound, enlisting Mac & Phil, and frequent collaborates Chris Loco and Naughty Boy to help elevate her strengths. The LP, including highlights “Hurts,” “Garden” (feat. Jay Electronica & Áine Zion) and “Breathing Underwater,” is a record brimming with powerful lyricism, emotional ballads, intimate electronica, and a whole lot of soul. From start to finish, we hear a more confident and fearless Emeli, and the fact that she only continues to refine within herself is what makes her such a necessary presence in music. And so, to celebrate the album’s release… JonALi’sBlog is giving away 3 copies of Long Live the Angels. Enter for chance to win below!
