Song of the Week: Captain Cuts ‘Love Like We Used To’ feat. Nateur!

This week’s Song of the Week comes from Captain Cuts!

Since their 2010 formation, the rising Los Angeles songwriting-production trio – Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon, and Ryan Rabin – have developed quite the impressive resume for themselves, crafting and penning songs for some of music’s biggest names, including: the inescapable triple-platinum “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk The Moon, Halsey‘s “Roman Holiday,” Tove Lo‘s “Crave,” as well as songs for Bebe Rexha, Jennifer Lopez, Tegan and Sara, and many others. Sold yet?

Now the guys of Captain Cuts are ready to launch a pop career of their very own with the release of their debut Epic Records single “Love Like We Used To“! The track is a thrilling pop number loaded with twinkling summer vibes and a stuttering electro charm. Add in the flawless vocals from Nateur aka Nate Cyphert, and we’ve got one of the more special songs in quite some time. “Love Like We Used To” may have worked better as a summertime single, but that doesn’t change the fact that we have no idea how we got through the last few months – much less any and all previous summers – without it.

It’s a bonafide winner – Get into it!

“Love Like We Used To” is also available on Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music!
