Allie XThus far this year, Allie X has unleashed her fantastic freebie “Old Habits Die Hard” and the dreamy “Too Much To Dream” as early singles from her sill-unfinished sophomore album CollXtion II, which is set to see the light of day by the end of the year.

This week, the mysteriously xceptional maker of songs has offered up another advanced listen in the form of: “All The Rage,” and it’s quite literally all the rage – the puns write themselves!

And much like “Old Habits Die Hard” and “Too Much To Dream,” “All The Rage” – co-written by her frequent collaborator Leland – kicks off with the same electro-pop buoyancy we’ve come to love from Allie, building with a steady drum machine beat and all types of spacey noises. But unlike its predecessors, “All The Rage” sees the LA-based songstress picking up the pace and dialing up the frantic zips and hums on this brill, electro-pop banger. I’m already imagining myself jumping around like a mad man to this one – LOVE!

“‘All the Rage‘ is the night where you channel a lifetime of rejection and failure and turn it into something fantastic,” Allie X said in a statement. “While in the all the rage state of mind, you are encouraged to be manic, ridiculous and let your delusions guide you!”
