Usher Gets Back Into Pop Star Mode With ‘Crash’ & ‘No Limit’!

UsherUsher is, at long last, giving it another go. (Again…)

After a string of single releases that started back in 2014 – from “Good Kisser,” “She Came to Give It to You,” “Believe Me,” “I Don’t Mind” and most recently, “Chains” – the R&B superstar is officially ready make his grand return with not one, but two brand new singles: “No Limit” featuring Young Thug and “Crash“!

The Young Thug-assisted “No Limit” – presumably the urban radio single – is a murky hip-hop-driven number all about “limitless” love pleasing: “Make you say uh, no limit/ I see murmur murder that, no limit baby/ Give you that ghetto D girl, no limit/ Just know when you roll with a nigga like me/ There’s no limit baby,” he declares.

If gross lyrics about “ghetto d” is your thing then I’m sure you’ll be into “No Limit,” but there’s truly only one star here — and that’s “Crash.”

The dreamy Fallen and Carlos St. John-crafted track is a more radio-friendly, pop stunner as the R&B crooner coos up against waves upon waves of warm synthesizers. “Would you mind if I still loved you?/ Would you mind if things don’t last?/ Would you mind if I hold onto/ You so that I won’t crash?”

Both tracks are set to be featured on his upcoming album Flawed, his first album since 2012’s Looking 4 Myself – Get into it!

“Crash,” the new single from Usher is available on Apple Music now!

I will disagree with you in that I much prefer “No Limit” (musically, not lyrically) to Crash. But overall I’m impressed, and looking forward to the new album!
