Jennifer Lopez Takes A Stand In ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ Music Video!

Jennifer Lopez is fed up y’all, and she’s letting you know in the just released music video for “Ain’t Your Mama“!

In the clip, directed by Cameron Duddy, J.Lo puts her acting skills on display as she plays a variety of stereotypical female characters: the ’50s housewife, the sexy secretary, the underpaid factory worker, the ’80s-styled lawyer, and of course, herself! True to J.Lo form, the five-minute visual then closes out with an empowering all female-led dance break.

While I do love the whole equality for women approach for the music video, I don’t think it will help the song gain any momentum on the charts. What do you guys think?

  1. I’m not against product placement.
    I’m against it when it’s this in-your-face-dumbass.
I like the song and get the concept, but somehow this video seemed to me like a feminism parody. Less would’ve been more for me.

  2. 80s Power JLO & the final dance scene saved the video for me.
