After very little warning during Annie Mac‘s BBC 1 radio show on Thursday (May 5) afternoon, James Blake has officially released his third studio album The Colour In Anything, to all digital retailers and streaming sites!

The follow-up to 2013’s Overgrown is a long, 17-song epic Rick Rubin-co-produced sonic journey that features two co-writing credits from mystery man Frank Ocean and another two from Justin Vernon; the latter is featured on the song “I Need a Forest Fire” as Bon Iver. If you’ve been a James Blake fan for years or was just recently introduced to the British crooner on “Forward,” – his song featured on Beyoncé‘s Lemonade – then you already know what to expect. I’ve given the album one run through and it already feels to heavenly and overwhelmingly beautiful to be real.

James Blake is simply from another planet. I can’t even..
