Adam Lambert Invites Us In On Stadium Anthem ‘Welcome To The Show’!

Adam LambertForget about St. Patrick’s Day, Adam Lambert has cordially invited us to hear something brand spanking new!

Following the release of his very underrated third studio album The Original High, one of the very best albums of 2015, the American Idol pop prince pop prince has gone on to tour the world in support of the LP and, most recently, joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming The Rocky Horror Picture Show musical remake – SLAY!

With no time to lose though, Adam‘s back for another round with: “Welcome To The Show” featuring Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh, recorded in NYC recently while on a day off from his The Original High Tour. Evidently still inspired by those darker/more revealing themes of The Original High, “Welcome To The Show” sees Adam surrendering to his flaws – “the good and the bad” – on this almighty start-of-spring stadium anthem with a massive inviting chorus: “So welcome to the show/ Bring on all the lights/ Let it shine on you/ We’re together here tonight/ Welcome to the show/ Welcome to my life.” He’s no longer hiding behind his veil y’all, he’s wearing his flaws proudly on his sleeve and sharing them with us all. A true triumph!

Adam is set to bare it all tonight (March 17) with his debut performance of “Welcome To The Show” live on American Idol on Fox – Make sure to tune in!

“I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring,” Adam said in a statement. “I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with two great writers and producers; Ali Payami, who worked with me on ‘Ghost Town,’ and Swedish star Laleh who is also a featured vocalist on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are.”
