There’s just something about fierce females joining forces that tickles my little gay heart. Over the last few years, we’ve seen some of the biggest female pop stars in the game unite, from Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé to Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea to all the recent Kesha support. #FreeKesha
Last night, the Icona duo – Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt – premiered their banger of a new single “Someone Who Can Dance” live at the Swedish version of the GRAMMYs (the Grammis) alongside their fellow Scandinavian babes. “I want someone who can dance/ Not someone I can talk to/ I want someone who can dance,” the girls chant throughout the club-ready, electro-pop jam.
It’s ridiculous and catchy as fu-k, an unapologetically fierce Icona Pop song.
