AlunaGeorge Hit The Dominican Republic For ‘I’m In Control’ Video!
The pulsating, Popcaan-assisted dancehall-infused number has already been on heavy rotation every since it dropped last month, so it’s no surprise that the just released accompanying music video is a just as wonderful and fabulous, too.
In the colorful Emil Nava-directed clip, we see leading lady Aluna Francis taking full control of the spotlight – see what I did there? – as she parades around the Dominican Republic in fierce fashions while embracing the island locals and their culture. It’s a fitting setting for the track and I loved the whole natural feel of it all. Aluna‘s presence is really all anyone needs – GET INTO IT!
