FLORRIE!! She’s back at it again, and luckily for us… nothing’s really changed – she’s still free of flaws!
For those of you not already familiar with the gorgeous Xenomania drummer-model-turned-solo songstress, she’s been supplying us with electro-pop greatness for years now – From her amazing series of EPs to her growing collection of stellar one-off singles, including 2013’s “Live A Little,” 2014’s “Little White Lies” and 2015’s “Too Young To Remember.”
This week, Florrie officially makes her return with the premiere of her new single called “Real Love“! And as expected, it’s incredible. The track, produced by Joacim Persson (Kelly Clarkson, Selena Gomez, Kylie Minogue, etc.), is a sparkling, ’80’s tinged rush of Florrie‘s signature aesthetic, as she lays down her luscious vocals above waves and waves of smooth-gliding synthesizers. “You’re so hard to read, you’re the master of disguise/ In your old blue jeans, you give me truth, you give me lies/ You’re a mystery, but it’s exactly what I like,” she fusses.
And then, in comes the properly amazing explosive chorus, which is arguably one of her most immediate yet: “If this is real love/ Beating like a thousand drums, love/ Burning like the hottest sun, love/ You’re the only one I want,” she declares across crashing drums. “I want, I want, real love/ Hit me like a hurricane, love/ I feel it running through my veins, love/ You’re the only one I want, want, want.” IT JUST FEELS SO RIGHT – LOVE!
Florrie’s new single “Real Love” is available on iTunes / Apple Music now!
