Alex Newell Teases Debut ‘POWER’ EP with Epic ’90s House Banger ‘This Ain’t Over’!

Glee‘s Alex Newell has quickly become one of dance music’s favorite vocalists, having supplied his phenomenal pipes to some amazing productions from some of our favorite producers – from “Nobody To Love” to Clean Bandit‘s “Stronger” to Blonde‘s “All Cried Out” to The Knocks‘ “Collect My Love.” And, he’s only just begun (having his fun)!

Next month, Alex is planning to drop some new music of his very own, and the first taste of his debut POWER EP, has more than satisfied our high expectations. The dance floor throbber fits in perfectly somewhere between Kiesza‘s “Hideaway,” Whitney Houston‘s “It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay” and Robin S‘ “Show Me Love” (which, naturally, he covered back in 2014).

“No doubt you wrote me off long ago/ But now I won’t give up/ This ain’t over, over, over/ This ain’t over, over, over,” Alex declares across the infectious chorus, full of bright ’90s House piano and big, buoyant beats. I’m so ready for more, more, more!
