Adele Makes Her Triumphant Return With ’25’s Heartbreaking ‘Hello’!

It has officially arrived . . . “Hello,” Adele‘s first single in three years!

Does it live up to the hype? Of course it does! This is Adele we’re talking about here, the gorgeous Brit responsible for Grammy Award-winning songs like “Rolling In The Deep” and “Someone Like You” off her Grammy-snatching sophomore LP 21, the 10th-largest selling album IN HISTORY!

Adele‘s natrual ability to emote is what makes her a cut above most of today’s singers, and with “Hello,” the lead single off of her upcoming third studio album 25, she continues to prove why she simply cannot be touched.

“Hello, it’s me/ I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet/ To go over, everything/ They say that time’s supposed to heal ya/ But I ain’t done much healing,” she sadly assures herself above a simple, devastating piano melody. The song burns with a raw ache that we can both hear and feel. And then, she really really goes in: “Hello from the other side / I must have called a thousand times / To tell you I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done / But when I call, you never seen to be home,” Adele belts on the soaring hook, as crashing drums and big ambient synths fill out the gorgeous Greg Kurstin production. “Hello from the outside / At least I can say that I tried to tell you I’m sorry for breaking your heart / But it don’t matter, it clearly doesn’t tear you apart anymore…”

The song is a complete and utter triumph. THE END.

Another amazing song, there is just something about this womens voice that just makes every word she says so emotional and true. Plus I just have a feeling Adele, despite all the fame and the money and what not, is still a down to earth girl.
