Matthew Koma Is ‘So F**kin’ Romantic’ On Summery Debut – Listen!

As the scribe and voice behind dance-pop smashes such as Zedd‘s “Clarity,” “Find You” and “Spectrum,” Tiesto‘s “Wasted,” and Sebastian Ingrosso and AlessoCalling (Lose My Mind)” featuring Ryan Tedder, it’s safe to say that Matthew Koma knows a thing or two about writing a hit.

The Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter has written for a handful of today’s most beloved pop acts–from Carly Rae Jepsen (“This Kiss“) to Kelly Clarkson (“Someone“) to Hilary Duff (“Breathe In. Breathe Out“), rapidly becoming one of the music industry’s most wanted writers for the past five years.

Now, as his profile continues to grow between both the packed dance floors of the EDM community and the radio airwaves of the mainstream pop scene, Matthew is taking his first step toward a debut in his own right with the release of his debut RCA Records single: “So F**kin’ Romantic“!

The Dan Book and Tim Pagnotta-co-written number lurches forward on top of bright piano progressions and saxophone flourishes before bursting into a infectious, summer-drenched house groove that immediately feels like an instant ear-worm. “I’m so fuckin’ romantic/ That you can’t even handle it/ I’m California magic/ And I can keep your candle lit/ We could sail the oceans/ And swim in the Atlantic/ You could say I’m hopeless/ But I’m so fuckin’ romantic,” Matthew declares. It’s a solid debut, that’s for sure – WIN!
