Song of the Week: Lion Babe ‘Impossible’
This week’s Song of the Week comes from New York-based duo Lion Babe! After releasing visuals for all of the tracks from their stellar self-titled debut EP, followed by the Pharrell-produced “Wonder Woman” and the announcement of their promising Disclosure collab, the twosome – Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman – are back with another earworm in the form of new single “Impossible“!
The result is a genre-bending headrush of upbeat sounds that takes quite a few dips and turns. “You can break me down and shake me, don’t try to rearrange me/ no way you can mistake me, it’s impossible,” Jillian sings over the hard-hitting drum and bass production. Easily their most infectious, in-your-face release yet – Consider me obsessed. GET FAMILIAR NOW!
Lion Babe will release their new single “Impossible” everywhere on July 24th!
