Little Boots Takes Us Deeper Into ‘Working Girl’ with ‘No Pressure’!

It’s becoming clear that Little Boots‘ upcoming third LP Working Girl may be the unappreciated surprise of the year. “Better In The Morning,” the lead single, has been on heavy rotation ever since making its debut back in May, and luckily for us, the English songstress isn’t being shy about sharing even more new tracks from her upcoming third studio album (out July 10).

This week, we have two new gems: “Working Girl” and “No Pressure,” both of which continue the concept of her 2014 EP Business Pleasure.

First, there’s title track “Working Girl,” a Tom Aspaul and Grades co-crafted electro-pop stomper that sees Boots dishing about the struggles of being a business woman.. and she can totally relate. “It’s so hard, it’s so hard for a working girl,” she declares above the dark, chilly synth pulse.

No Pressure,” on the other hand is just a hypnotizing production from start to finish, and endlessly re-playable: Those moody, throbbing ’90’s pulsations. The dreamy coos. That chorus! So simple, yet so effective: “No pressure, no pressure/ Anything is possible/ You just need a miracle/ No pressure, no pressure/ Everything can change, is there a silver-lining on the way.” This is the sound I’ve been hoping to hear form her – LOVE!
