LAWD! Praise this day: Queen Foxes is back!

For those of you not already familiar with the gorgeous English songstress, Foxes won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording back in 2013 with her explosive Zedd collaboration “Clarity,” then put out Glorious, one of my favorite pop records of last year. (Get into it if you haven’t already. It’s a must listen.)

This week, Foxes officially makes her return with the premiere of her new single called “Body Talk“! And luckily for us, nothing’s really changed — she’s as Glorious as ever. “Body Talk,” produced by Jim Eliot (Say Lou Lou, Ellie Goulding, Kylie Minogue, etc.), provokes a super-infectious sense of nostalgia with its smooth gliding, arena-sized production that recalls the ’80’s-flavored stuff of Brandon Flowers‘ latest record, The Desired Effect. “Ooh, let your body talk/ Even when you feel so lost/ Spinning when the tears they fall, you gotta just let it go,” she sings above layers and layers of warm synthesizers. It’s a total winner and I’m completely hooked.
