With just a few days left to go until she closes out the first leg of her Jackie Tour, Ciara has decided to move forward with “Give Me Love” as the official follow-up to her R&B hit “I Bet.” The Dr. Luke and Cirkut-produced gem is the album’s dance-pop masterpiece that plays out like a glorious throwback to the House sirens and R&B divas of the early ’90’s. “Give me love or nothing at all, give me love or nothing at all,” she declares across the infectious chorus, packed with shimmering synths and big, buoyant beats. It’s a pop radio smash in waiting – A much smarter move than “Dance Like We’re Making Love.”
That isn’t the only good news Ciara has to share this week, the 29-year-old seasoned diva has just been announced as new face of Roberto Cavalli‘s Fall/Winter 2015-16 advertising campaign. CiCi, who “embodies beauty with a hint of wildness,” poses against mounds of golden sand in an aqua green room in the surreal photos, shot by Francesco Carrozzini in L.A. “The long, flowing dresses bear traces of precious traditional oriental embroideries, transforming them into sumptuous, modern details. A style icon and social phenomenon,” the Italian design house said via press release. “Ciara interprets the Cavalli woman with purity and spontaneity – Her youthful, proud elegance dominates the colours of the scene.”
Well deserved, she looks absolutely incredible in these shots. KILLIN IT MAMA!
