Selena Gomez-assisted lead single “I Want You To Know” has proven to be another radio success for Zedd, and luckily that isn’t keeping the German DJ from holding out on us. This week, Zedd offers up “Addicted To A Memory,” the opening track and second taste from his upcoming sophomore album True Colors, which is due out on May 18th via Interscope. Co-written by Zedd alongside Matthew Koma, “Addicted To A Memory” sees him merging his gritty electro roots with his now signature radio-ready pop craft, while L.A alternative trio Bahari provide the infectious hook. “We are, we are, imagine ecstasy / Holding on to what we used to be, addicted to a memory,” the girls sweetly sing. It’s truly the best of both worlds; new and old fans should be quite pleased. I’m absolutely living for this beat breakdown – GET INTO IT!
