‘All That’: Carly Rae Jepsen’s Dreamy Collab with Dev Hynes & Ariel Rechtshaid!

Fresh off her very first Saturday Night Live appearance, Carly Rae Jespen drops the studio version of her brand new track titled “All That,” which she also performed last night. The song isn’t the typical Top 40 affair we’ve come to expect from the “I Really Like You” miniature-sized diva. “All That,” is a lush and bubbling ’80s-flavored collaboration with Blood Orange mastermind Dev Hynes and Ariel Rechtshaid that wouldn’t be entirely out of place on Dev‘s 2013 album, Cupid Deluxe. “Show me if you want me, if I’m all that / I will be that, I will be your friend / Show me if you want me, if I’m all that,” Carly sweetly sings on the hook. This is baby making music at its best and finally Carly is showing us some musical versatility, a welcomed more mature direction. Here’s hoping the album is filled with more of this greatness. What do you guys think?
