For years now Florrie has been blessing us with her pop music greatness. Just last year, she not only delivered her stellar single “Little White Lies“, but she also supplied us with yet another fantastic EP entitled Sirens, which I made sure to include on my Top 10 EP’s of 2014. Now, the Xenomania drummer-model-turned-solo songstress is back at it again with the premiere of her brand-new pop jam, “Too Young To Remember“! Premiered exclusively on H&M, “Too Young To Remember” is a charming and glittering synth-pop number that comes packed with feel-good harmonies and punchy drum lines. That’s not all though, the super-catchy track also comes accompanied with a colorful and playful visual that sees the 26-year-old blonde beauty rocking tons of nostalgic ’80’s/early ’90’s-inspired looks – WIN WIN. “When I wrote the track, I started with the line too young to remember and thought it was a really interesting concept and something that a lot of people could relate to,” Florrie told H&M. “The song is about living your own life, learning for yourself, making up your own mind. But it was fun to reference things from the 80s and 90s too that maybe you are too young to remember! Some of the lyrics are quite tongue-in-cheek; it has a sense of fun and freedom about it too. My favorite line is Big hair is my prerogative.” Bring on that album mama!
Florrie will release her new single “Too Young To Remember” on March 10th!
