BBC Sound of 2015 Nominees Years & Years Premiere Proper Smash, ‘King’!

After cementing some proper buzz in the UK last year with their breakout hit “Desire” and stellar Real EP, UK-based trio Years & Years are well on their way to becoming bonafide stars. Just one day before the highly coveted BBC Sound Of 2015 winner is chosen (they’ve been nominated), the threesome have decided to drop their brand new single, “King“, and it’s an absolute smash! Packed with a pounding dance beat and dazzling synth lines, “King” sees frontman Olly Alexander singing about heartbreak while sounding positively celebratory on the track’s irresistible earworm of a chorus. “And oh, oh, oh… I was a king under your control / And oh, oh, oh… I wanna feel like you’ve let me go, so let me go.” This is an instant charmer of the highest order and I’m totally obsessed. It’s pretty clear that Years & Years have one hell of a year ahead of them – Get into it now!

Years & Years will release their new single in the UK on March 1!
