Nicki Minaj: ‘The Pinkprint’ Album Giveaway!

Today marks the official release of The Pinkprint, the highly anticipated new album from Nicki Minaj! After what feels like forever ago since the release of 2012’s chart-topping Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, Nicki finally returns with a brand-new record that may very well be her best one yet. The 19-track set features the hit singles “Anaconda,” “Pills N Potions“, “Only” featuring Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown, as well as new collaborations with Beyoncé on “Feeling Myself“, Ariana Grande on “Get on Your Knees“, Jeremih on “Favorite“, and Meek Mill, who appears twice. Fans of Nicki should be super pleased with The Pinkprint, it’s a strong fully-realized record from start to finish that showcases Nicki‘s growth while still bringing back the rawness of her early hip-hop roots. Gosh, it’s so hard to pick, but I think my favourite track off The Pinkprint is “Bed of Lies”. Such a good collab!

It’s honestly hard to choose! From the matured Starships, “The Night is Still Young” to the gritty “Four Door Aventador” to the island-tinged ode to her heritage “Trini Dem Girls” there’s so many fantastic tracks to pick from. I guess the most musically compelling record is Jessie Ware assisted “The Crying Game” where Nicki showcases a new, more mature sound recounting a relationship gone awry; and instead of simply grazing the surface of unhealthy attraction a la “Right Thru Me” she bears it all and Ware sounds like an angel in mourning on the hook. I would say it should definitely be slotted as the next single but Nicki really did it this time w Pinkprint; practically any record on the tracklist could be a hit if given the chance. Her Minajesty has officially solidified herself as rap royalty.

Her new album, “The Pinkprint”, is her most personal one yet. She never ceases to amaze me. My favorite track is “I Lied”, there is something about that song that really draws me in.

I was going to… but the album honestly is TERRIBLE! The only good track IMO is “The Night Is Still Young” and thats not even as good as some of her past songs. Way too boring Nicki. Most of your fans want fun, spastic, crazy Nicki–not serious, in her feelings, trying to be deep Nicki. SHRUG!
